Places to Ride Consultation

Do you cycle or would you like to start cycling? What do you think of the facilities for cyclists or people who may want to learn to ride in your area?

British Cycling is inviting expressions of interest from places that could potentially develop recreational cycling sites as part of its national Places to Ride scheme.

We would like to know your thoughts on whether something like this would be popular as part of the new Thoresby Vale residential development on the site of the former Thoresby Colliery, Edwinstowe.

Please take a few minutes to complete our survey via the link below – it is open until 22nd November.

Please tell anyone else who may be interested in getting involved.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Please note: This survey is being conducted and managed by Newark and Sherwood District Council. Findings from the survey will be used to support an application by Newark and Sherwood District Council for a Large Scale Grant from British Cycling’s £15m Places to Ride investment programme.

Survey responses from members of the public will be anonymous. Those responding on behalf of groups, clubs or organisations will have the option in the survey to provide their details.

Outcomes of the application process are expected in January 2021 and news of our application will be announced publicly and shared through Visit Newark and Sherwood’s social media channels.
